Job description

Are you ready to be a big part of something big?

At Trader Interactive, we make buying and selling a great experience. We’re a group of go-getters who decided they didn’t want to settle for the status quo. We come together as one team to build value and drive innovation across our industries - but we have fun while we do it and make sure our people are always our #1 priority.

When it comes to your career, we want to provide big opportunities to help you make a big impact. But for this to be possible, we strive to feel small. Small enough to quickly change tack, small enough to learn from different teams and small enough to connect authentically with leadership.

What We Offer

· An inclusive and supportive work environment where you can move your career forward and will have the chance to do work that has real, significant impact on the world.

· The opportunity to be a part of a global group of digital marketplace businesses (CAR Group) located across Australia, Brazil, Chile and South Korea - collectively we have around 1,800 team members worldwide, and our Global Talent Exchange Program means you might just find yourself working in one of those businesses sometime soon.

· Plenty of flexible leave options and employee benefits including up to 31 days of paid time off in your first year, continuing education with access to LinkedIn Learning, a full benefits package including medical, dental & vision, 401K with company match, and wellness program.

What You’ll Do

Trader Interactive is seeking a Senior Account Manager for TI Media to act as the primary client facing anchor for our premier brand, agency, and OEM accounts. Operating at the unique intersection of marketplace demand and offsite digital activation, you will manage, retain, and scale client relationships across our specialized recreational and commercial vehicle industries — including RV, Powersports, Marine, Commercial Truck, and Equipment.

You will be a vital resource within our Pod Structure, collaborating tightly with Account Executives and Ad Operations to deliver data-driven marketing narratives, optimize complex campaigns, and uncover incremental revenue opportunities. This is a hybrid role that blends enterprise account relationship management with hands-on ad server, targeting, and optimization rigor. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Client Relationship Management & Strategy

  • Serve as the dedicated, main point of contact for a strategic portfolio of high-value accounts, ensuring elite-level customer service and timely resolution of client issues.

  • Establish and nurture deep, trust-based partnerships with key OEM decision-makers, marketing stakeholders, and primary Agency of Record (AoR) partners.

  • Lead regular Joint Business Planning (JBP) dialogue and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to consult on client business needs, present marketplace insights, and align strategies for continuous renewals.

  • Act as a consultative project manager, guiding direct enterprise-level advertisers and complex agency ecosystems smoothly through full-funnel activation.

Media Planning, Campaign Packaging & RFPs

  • Partner with aligned Account Executives to build comprehensive Media Plans and author highperforming RFP responses addressing packaging, pricing, placement, and full-funnel targeting.

  • Own the campaign kick-off process, orchestrating cross-functional onboarding and gathering required client campaign launch assets.

  • Leverage Trader Interactive's rich first-party data (1PD) to prescribe sophisticated on-site digital display solutions, branded content programs, custom creative assets, and offsite audience extensions — including Social Retargeting, Display Networks, Video Platforms, Connected TV, Online Video, and Programmatic.

Campaign Execution, Optimization & Financial Performance

  • Collaborate weekly in Pipeline & Pacing meetings to monitor active campaign delivery performance and align on upcoming launches.

  • Work directly with Ad Operations and internal media agency teams to ensure flawless product order implementation, technical tracking setup, pixel strategies, and swift troubleshooting in major ad servers and order management platforms.

  • Oversee campaign optimization parameters to maximize performance against client benchmarks (CPA, CTR, cLPV, viewability, view-through rates) and present data-backed recommendations to unlock incremental budgets.

  • Provide clients with sophisticated performance analysis, performance storytelling, and comprehensive post-campaign wrap reports leveraging industry-standard reporting platforms.

  • Navigate campaign escalations and contribute to long-term solutions that prevent similar issues in the future.

  • Contribute to monthly billing, contract validation, and invoicing workflows alongside finance to ensure exact revenue recognition.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of progressive, client-facing digital account management or sales planning support experience in the digital media, adtech, or advertising agency sectors.

  • Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of digital media sales, agency structures (strategy, planning, investment, activation), and marketplaces including Direct IO, Programmatic Guaranteed, Private Marketplaces (PMP), and biddable environments.

  • Technical Proficiency: Working knowledge of Sales Operation systems (CRM, Salesforce, OMS, Ad Servers, Google Ad Manager). Familiarity with advertising research, identity solutions, and standard verification/measurement vendors — such as Nielsen, ComScore, Moat, Integral Ad Science, DoubleVerify, and Kantar — is a significant asset.

  • Core Competencies: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to make complex data digestible for external client stakeholders; strong analytical, strategic thinking, project management, and multi-tasking capabilities.

  • Vertical Context (Plus): Experience managing accounts within specialized automotive, heavy equipment, powersports, marine, or RV verticals is highly desirable.

The expected OTE (base plus commission) for this role is $115,000 - $134,000 CAD

So come and join our team - because every role is a big role in our plans to go big.

TI proudly supports a diverse workforce, and we encourage candidates from underrepresented groups to apply. Trader Interactive is an equal opportunity employer where hiring is based entirely on business needs, job requirements, and individual merit.
