Job description

Embark on your journey as a Trade Lifecycle Manager I where you'll be at the forefront of managing the pre- and post-trading life cycle across all asset classes. Your role will be crucial in ensuring accurate cash movements and proper funding coordination, leveraging your expertise to drive process improvements and ensure project success.
As a Trade Lifecycle Manager I within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in managing the operations of the pre- and post-trading life cycle across all asset classes. Your expertise in cash movements, funding for managed demand deposit accounts, and coordination with other business lines will ensure proper funding and smooth operations. You will leverage your broad knowledge of trade lifecycle principles and practices to resolve short-term problems, make non-routine decisions, and propose improvements to current working methods. Your advanced listening and questioning skills, combined with your proficiency in internal stakeholder management and presentation skills, will enable you to establish productive relationships and effectively communicate with various teams. Your role will also involve leading process improvement initiatives, applying automation technologies, and managing projects, all while maintaining a keen awareness of market product knowledge and industry regulations.
Job responsibilities
  • Participate in the management of cash movements in and out of client accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in line with established procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of funding for managed demand deposit accounts (DDA's), applying knowledge of relevant principles and practices.
  • Contribute to the coordination with other lines of business to facilitate proper funding, utilizing advanced listening and questioning skills.
  • Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions, leveraging knowledge of automation technologies.
  • Participate in projects related to the trade lifecycle, ensuring alignment with team objectives and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Build key subject matter expertise in the team which will provide value added services to clients.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience or equivalent expertise in managing cash movements and preparing funding for managed demand deposit accounts.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in coordinating with various business lines to facilitate proper funding.
  • Proven ability to identify process inefficiencies and propose solutions, with a focus on automation technologies.
  • Experience in project management within the trade lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Advanced skills in active listening and questioning, internal stakeholder management, and presentation, with a focus on establishing productive relationships and effective communication.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • A solid understanding of financial markets, trading processes, and various financial instruments is crucial.
  • Prior custody/treasury operation services, markets operational experience.
  • Understanding of SWIFT, Cross Border Payments, Foreign Exchange, Trade life cycle, Reconciliation rules and Global Custody.
  • Self-starter, ability to learn quickly, Strong leadership skills with focus to mitigate risks and taking proactive approach to ensure "Best in Class" results.
