Job Summary/ Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking students who are passionate about logistics to join our 2026 Summer Internship Program. The 2026 Summer Internship Program is a 12 week long opportunity that will provide the intern with professional work experience, mentorship, and exposure to operations for MSC USA. In addition to the hands-on work assignments and projects, the intern will also increase their knowledge in shipping and logistics operations for a global organization.
The Chicago office is located at 8725 W. Higgins Rd, Chicago IL 60631, and this role will be fully in-office.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to various departments by performing administrative related tasks as needed
  • Prepare and review various documents and reports
  • Enter data efficiently and effectively
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Maintains good customer relationships with new and existing clients/vendors

This role requires working on-site in the office for five days aweek, from Monday to Friday. There is no option for fully remote or hybrid workin this role, unless required off-site duties are being performed.
Qualifications & Key Competencies:
Qualifications:
  • Must have valid work authorization. If under the age of 18 - you must have a workers permit.
  • Must be currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in a related field.
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours and a maximum of 29 hours per week.
  • Must be able to work during office hours, 9 AM - 5 PM during the internship period.
