Working closely with other departments to align sales strategies with business goals, help shape pricing and product development and keep the company competitive and responsive to market shifts. By building strong customer relationships, maximizing profitability, and identifying new opportunities for growth, the team contributes to both short-term and long-term success.
Your Next Pour: The Opportunity
We are looking to add a Manager of Trade and Pricing Operations to our Commercial Operations team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the management of a portion of the Total US Trade Spend budget across the entire Tropicana Brands Group product portfolio, acting as the Subject Matter Expert on our Trade Performance Management platform. This individual enables depth and breadth of expertise development and supports cross-functional teaming on a project basis. Tropicana is looking for an excellent critical thinker with exceptional communication and a rigorous attention to detail who thrives at the intersection of teams and systems. Additional responsibilities include:
  • Lead development and maintenance of Power BI reporting infrastructure, including end-to-end data flows, to deliver timely, accurate, and actionable insights on trade performance and spend effectiveness
  • Own trade projections and long-term planning processes, partnering with Sales and Finance to forecast trade investment, evaluate ROI scenarios, and align with annual growth objectives
  • Serve as primary liaison between Trade Operations and IT, managing the system enhancement pipeline, prioritizing business requirements, and ensuring successful delivery of TPM/TPO and reporting capabilities
  • Drive month-end close processes for trade spend, including detailed variance analysis versus forecast and plan, identifying key drivers and communicating insights to Finance and Senior Leadership
  • Lead and develop the Grocery and On-the-Go Trade Operations team, setting priorities, coaching team members, and ensuring high-quality execution across all channels
  • Provide ad hoc analysis, reporting, and training support related to trade data, tools, and processes, enabling cross-functional teams to make data-driven decisions
  • Act as system leader for the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), ensuring trade inputs are accurately captured, aligned with strategic objectives, and reflected across planning systems

The Perfect Blend: Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Pricing, Trade Management, RGM, or Strategy in the CPG space; general strategy and/or consulting experience is a plus; marketing and/or sales experience is a plus
  • Roll up sleeves to conduct analytics and get things done
  • Rigorous attention to detail with demonstrated discipline in driving operationalization of data quality
  • Ability to translate conversational business rules into clear planning and exception criteria
  • Superior skills in building strong cross-functional working relationships
  • Excellent analytic skills and is comfortable working in Excel, data-based and advanced analytics environments
  • Practical experience in some combination of key account sales, sales strategy, sales finance, trade administration and/or revenue growth management
  • Familiar with the core tenets of revenue growth management and its performance metrics, having incorporated them into prior role
  • Strong knowledge of practical basis what it takes to execute Trade Spend/RGM strategies in the field with retailers and forms actionable recommendations with that in mind
  • Ability to build strong partnerships with account leads to drive ownership and accountability
  • Excitement for turning data into actionable insight and is comfortable working seamlessly with senior stakeholders to influence commercial strategy

Foundational Ingredients: Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and SAP exposure
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
  • Must be located in Chicago, IL surrounding area or willing to relocate for the duration of employment.
  • Willingness to adapt and thrive in a blended work environment with 3-days in office, seamlessly transitioning between remote work and in-office operations

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 annually.
