Job Description Skilled Trades Recruiter Location: Dallas, TX Are you a seasoned recruiter with a passion for connecting top talent with manufacturing or construction opportunities. Kodiak Labor Solutions is seeking a Skilled Trades Recruiter to join our team in Dallas, TX. This role focuses on sourcing, attracting, and hiring skilled trades professionals, including machinists, welders, electricians, and mechanics, for manufacturing companies.
Key Responsibilities: Proactively source and recruit skilled trades professionals (e.g., electricians, welders, machinists, plumbers, and more) through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events. Conduct thorough candidate screenings to evaluate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit for client needs. Manage high-volume recruiting efforts to meet client demands in construction, manufacturing, logistics, and industrial sectors
Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline to ensure consistent access to qualified candidates. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand specific workforce requirements and ensure effective candidate placements. Oversee the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, interviews, offer negotiations, and onboarding.
Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and provide regular recruitment metrics to leadership. Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in recruiting, with a preference for skilled trades, construction, or industrial staffing. Proven ability to manage high-volume recruiting projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with sourcing techniques, including Boolean searches, LinkedIn Recruiter, and ATS platforms. Strong understanding of the local labor market and its skilled trade workforce. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
