???? Position Overview

We are a growing metal manufacturing and fabrication company seeking a motivated General Laborer / Shop Apprentice to join our team.

This entry-level position supports multiple areas of shop production, including fabrication support, machine operation, material handling, warehouse duties, blueprint reading, and general shop labor. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to build a long-term career in manufacturing, metal fabrication, welding, or skilled trades.

Training is available for the right candidate. We are willing to teach technical skills to someone who brings a strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn.

???? Responsibilities

• Assist with daily shop production and metal fabrication activities
• Measure materials accurately using a tape measure and other measuring tools
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, work orders, and production specifications
• Assist with machine operation and equipment setup
• Prepare materials, tools, and workstations for production
• Stage and organize materials to keep projects moving efficiently
• Load, unload, and transport materials throughout the shop
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
• Support welders, fabricators, machinists, and production staff as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing environment
• Perform general shop labor, cleanup, and housekeeping duties
• Help ensure jobs are production-ready and completed to quality standards
