We're growing our intermodal division and are looking for professional CDL Class A drivers who want consistent work, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to be home every day.

Position Overview

If you're looking to move away from LTL freight, our intermodal operation offers a great opportunity with no-touch freight. As a 2nd Shift Intermodal Driver, you'll safely transport ocean containers using drop-and-hook operations while enjoying dedicated routes and daily home time.

Overtime opportunities are frequently available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer hauling intermodal ocean containers
  • Transport containers between rail yards, ports, and customer locations
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of tractors, trailers, and chassis
  • Maintain accurate electronic logs using ELDs
  • Report equipment concerns, accidents, or safety issues promptly
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and terminal personnel
  • Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations

Qualifications

Required

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Clean driving record
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to safely operate in varying road and weather conditions
  • Excellent communication skills

Preferred

  • Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience
  • Recent graduates from an accredited CDL program may also be considered
  • Hazmat and Tanker endorsements

Please note: Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are highly preferred, provide additional earning opportunities, and are required within 30 days of hire.
