Job Purpose:
- The Forklift Operator at OPERATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES AUTOMOTIVE is responsible for efficiently and safely operating a forklift to move materials, products, and equipment within the warehouse or production facility. This role ensures that all materials are handled in compliance with company safety standards and contributes to the smooth operation of the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery to transport goods and materials to designated areas.
- Load and unload products from delivery trucks, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory management by accurately recording material movements and reporting discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production targets.
