What You'll Do
As a Job Coach, you'll provide individualized support that helps people become successful and independent employees.
You will:
• Coach and support individuals with disabilities at community job sites
• Teach job tasks through hands-on training, modeling, and encouragement
• Help develop workplace skills, confidence, independence, and professionalism
• Support positive communication and workplace relationships
• Work collaboratively with employers, supervisors, and coworkers
• Assist with accommodations and individualized support strategies
• Track progress and celebrate successes as individuals gain independence
• Communicate with employment specialists and supervisors regarding progress and support needs

Qualifications
Required
• Age 18 or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable, patient, and professional
• Ability to adapt to different work environments
Preferred but Not Required
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities
• Experience in coaching, caregiving, education, customer service, mentoring, or human services

Work Environment
This is a community-based position that takes place in a variety of workplace settings.
The role may involve:
• Standing, walking, and moving throughout the workday
• Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
• Assisting individuals with physical support needs when necessary
• Indoor and outdoor work environments
Additional Requirements
Some assignments may require driving:
• Valid driver's license
• 21+ with 3 years driving experience
• Current DMV report and auto insurance
Conditions of Employment:
• Must pass and maintain a background check
• CPR & First Aid certification and TB clearance required within 30 days of hire
