Job description

SupplyOne Digital in Lowell, AR is hiring a Die Cutter Operator, responsible for safe and efficient operation of the Brausse-Eterna 1650 SAL (Bobst-style) Flatbed Platten Die Cutter. This position is responsible for board changes and set-ups, ensuring high quality standards and throughput expectations, and maintaining equipment to include cleanliness and required PM’s as scheduled. 

Specific duties include: 

  • Responsible for set-up, operation, cleaning, and maintenance of the Brausse-Eterna 1650 SAL (Bobst-style) Flatbed Platten Die Cutter and all related equipment. 

  • Maintain consistent and quality production with detailed documentation and testing for each job. 

  • Maintain machine functionality through efficient operation and adjustments. 

  • Quickly and effectively troubleshoot quality and maintenance issues. 

  • Achieve all product order specifications including following job sequence and material verifications. 

  • Communicate regularly with manager on job status and production. 

  • Train new operators and communicate effectively to ensure quality attributes are followed and efficient operations are maintained. 

  • Accurate and timely completion of all required paperwork, quality checks and reporting for each job along with maintenance and operational programs. 

  • Oversee helpers and ensure they follow all established operational and quality processes, safety procedures and comply with all production requirements. 

  • Vigilantly monitor machine operations to produce quality blanks at established rate while troubleshooting any machine and/or quality issues. 

Specific qualifications include: 

  • 1-3 years’ experience operating a Flat Bed Die Cutter (Bobst a definite plus)

  • Proven track record of success in previous Operator position is preferred. 

  • Mechanically inclined. 

  • Must be hands on and work independently with minimum supervision. 

  • Comply with all safety, quality and production processes and controls. 

  • Able to use various material handling equipment to move materials and manually lift up to 50 lbs. 

  • Able to stand for long periods; willing and able to work overtime as scheduled. 

  • Attendance and punctuality are critical as you are a key player in our ability to succeed.
