The Department of Statistics of Rutgers University seeks outstanding applicants for a tenure track position of the rank of Assistant Professor to start in Fall 2026. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in statistics or related fields.
Responsibilities of this position include: teaching and supervising both undergraduate and graduate students, and conducting original research in statistics, AI and data science broadly defined. Our search will prioritize AI/ML/Data Science with applications in scientific discovery, but we will consider excellent applications in all areas of Statistics and Data Science. Pursuit of external research funding is expected.
