Position
TPG Rise Climate is the climate investing initiative of TPG's global impact investing platform, TPG Rise. Y Analytics is seeking a Climate Digest Research Assistant to research and draft TPG Rise Climate's biweekly climate newsletter. The Rise Climate Insight Digest relays recent technological advances, policies, corporate actions, and other developments in the climate space to the entirety of TPG as well as select investors. This research assistant will work closely with experienced team members and deepen their climate and communications expertise while informing key players in the investment world. The position is for Undergraduate and Graduate students or passionate about climate, journalism, and impact investing.
Requirements
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Undergraduate or Graduate student
  • Experience (academic or otherwise) and interest in environmental science, journalism, communications, climate tech, economics, public policy, or another relevant field
  • Demonstrated ability to concisely synthesize information in written form for a target audience
  • Exceptional project management skills in individual or team settings
  • Strong understanding of the stakeholder engagement needs of a financial firm
  • Highly communicative with strong adherence to deadlines
  • Familiarity with key questions and themes in the climate space, including awareness and basic understanding of important technologies
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
