Job Summary
The responsibilities of a Service Technician include performing diagnostics, repairs, and other routine maintenance on various vehicle makes and models.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
  • Test drive vehicles and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be kept informed.
  • Provide estimates of time and parts, as needed, for additional repairs.
  • Perform repairs under warranty according to manufacturer guidelines and specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures and safety standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Experience as a Service Technician or similar role is recommended but not required. Willing to train.
  • ASE Certification preferred but not required.
  • Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively.
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.
  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
