Job description

Curtis Trailers has immediate openings for experienced RV Technicians at our Aloha location. If you classify yourself as an independent self-starter, then you’ll want to be on our award winning team! Salary:

  • Experienced technicians can range from $24-32/hour depending on relevant experience.
  • All technicians are eligible for a monthly productivity bonus of an additional $1.00 - $9.00 per hour.

Responsibilities of RV Technicians:

  • Read and comprehend repair orders identifying customer complaints.
  • Trouble shoot and diagnose any and all components that could be the root cause of the issue(s).
  • Repair or replace any components found to be defective during inspection.
  • Follow strict guidelines and complete all paperwork required for warranty processing and part orders.
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers, customers and management.
  • Complete all assigned duties safely.
  • Process paperwork for each work assignment.

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of 120v and 12v electrical systems.
  • Understanding of plumbing supply and drain systems.
  • Understanding of RV appliances such as water heaters, furnaces, ovens, air conditioners, etc.
  • Understanding of LP systems and ability to become a certified RV Fitter.
  • Carpentry skills and ability to use power tools such as a table saw, chop saw, panel saw, etc.
  • Understanding of RV frames, suspension and brake system functions.
  • Ability to read and comprehend complex repair instructions and wiring schematics.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Must furnish own hand tools such as wrenches, pliers, socket set, hammer, etc.
  • Must be able to work Saturdays.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test, which includes testing for marijuana

Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs and work from elevated heights.
  • Ability to crawl, stop, bend and work in confined spaces.
  • Ability to stand for entirety of the workday.

Environmental & Working Conditions:

Typically working indoors, in a noisy shop environment. Occasionally will be required to work outdoors in all weather conditions
