Job description

The is a business to business sales role with Diamond Dotz! You’re going to be talking to customers. A lot. You’ll sort out their issues and leave them delighted, because you’re brilliant at customer service and have a keen eye for seeking out sales opportunities.

Building relationships with new and existing stakeholders will be key. Some leads are provided, however prospecting for new business will be central to the role – at least in the beginning.

You’ll get a great understanding of our products and pitch them to new and existing buyers. You’ll bring out the benefit of our products and be comfortable presenting them to anyone from senior execs, small business owners and to junior buyers.

You will attend trade shows and identify opportunities to promote the brand and its products.

Ultimately, the role is about taking orders and growing market share.

Coordinating sales with internal staff and marketing.

Salesperson Duties and Responsibilities

· Generate and qualify leads via phone and email

· Schedule product presentations

· Promote products/services to new and existing customers

· Champion new marketing/sales collateral and suggest promotions

· Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of new and existing customers

· Close sales by means of excellent customer service and salesmanship

· Develop strategies for more effective sales closing, share with team

· Maintain positive business and customer relationships to prolong customer lifetime value

· Prioritize and/or escalate client questions and concerns to increase client satisfaction

· Source and develop client referrals

· Track personal appointments, status reports, and sales

· Meet or exceed monthly sales goals

Salesperson Requirements and Qualifications

· 5+ years experience

· Experience in consumer products will be looked upon favorably

· Experience in the toy or craft will be looked upon favorably

· Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written

· Aptitude for negotiation and persuasion

· Highly motivated, determined, and target driven

· Proven track record in the sales environment

· Ability to meet and exceed monthly sales quota

· Ability to create and deliver client presentations

· Expert in time management and personal organization

· Familiarity with CRM best practices

· Bachelor's degree preferred but may accept relevant experience
