JOB SUMMARY
The Brand Development Manager is responsible for supporting the development, promotion and growth of the hotel's brand presence. This position supports the sales department and works closely with marketing, operations and leadership teams to create engaging campaigns, strengthen community relationships, increase brand awareness and enhance the overall guest experience.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The Hotel operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, so operational demands require variations in shift days, starting times, and hours worked in a week.
  • Develop and execute marketing initiatives that increase hotel awareness and drive business.
  • Create engaging content for social media, email marketing, websites and other digital platform channels.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and identity across marketing, websites and other digital channels.
  • Coordinate promotional campaigns, special events, community activities and brand activations.
  • Build relationships with local businesses, tourism organizations, media outlets, influencers and community partners.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Operations teams to develop collateral, campaigns and imagery designed to generate leads, bookings, group business, increased revenue and repeat customers.
  • Understand and support the functions of the Sales Department and related internal culture enhancing initiatives as deemed necessary.
  • Promote hotel amenities, dining, events, hotel packages and special offers.
  • Assist with photography, video, graphic design, menu creation, merchandising and cataloging of assets.
  • Monitor social media engagement, website performance, campaign results and other marketing metrics.
  • Help manage the hotels and outlets online reputation and respond appropriately to guest feedback.
  • Coordinate with internal department to ensure marketing campaigns accurately represent the guest experience.
  • Ensure all marketing activities follow corporate and Brand guidelines.
  • Maintain marketing calendars, budgets, vendor relationships and project timelines.
  • Assist with presentations, promotional materials, community outreach and public relations initiatives.
  • Identify creative opportunities to differentiate the property from competitors.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Business, Public Relations or a related field preferred
  • 0-3 years of experience in marketing, hospitality, communications, sales, public relations or a related area.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and project-management abilities
  • Comfortable using social media platforms and digital marketing tools
  • Basic understanding of marketing concepts, branding and customer engagement
