Set on a ridge just above the town of Talkeetna, Pursuit's Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge offers majestic views of the tallest peak in North America. It's the best of Alaska, outside and in.
As the Groups Administrator, you will be working closely with the Food & Beverage Manager/ Event Coordinator/Front Operations Manager and our Reservations groups team to assist in the maintenance of all national and international groups. You will ensure the best quality of guest service is received.
The hourly wage for this role is $20/hour. This is a seasonal role start immediately and continues until September 19, 2026. Shared staff accommodation is available at a rate of $10/per day.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Monitor changes to group bookings
  • Maintain communication with management regarding changes to group bookings
  • Maintain files and folders for all groups
  • Provide a weekly schedule, detailed with al groups and events scheduled to arrive at the lodge and restaurant
  • Greet the tour directors as they arrive to ensure all requirements are set for the ariving group
  • Assist Front Desk staff as needed
  • Assist Food & Beverage Manager for group events as needed
  • Assist in data entry of the group manifest

REQUIRED SKILLS, QUIALIFICATIONS
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organization and detail-oriented skills
  • Previous guest service experience
  • Ability to perform duties of the job with regular sitting, standing, walking, seeing and hearing
  • Must be able to regularly lift up to 30 pounds
  • Previous guest service experience
  • Basic computer skills required
