Whether you’re seeking full-time or part-time work, this role offers the opportunity to travel, meet new people, and deliver exceptional service on trips across the state and beyond.

As a Motor Coach Driver, you’ll safely transport passengers on day trips and extended tours while serving as a trusted guide and ambassador for our company. You’ll operate modern, well-maintained equipment and play a key role in ensuring every journey is comfortable, safe, and enjoyable.

Key responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a motor coach to transport passengers on day trips and/or extended tours
  • Read and interpret routes, schedules, and directions to ensure timely and efficient service
  • Navigate diverse routes, terrain, and traffic conditions while maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by interacting courteously with passengers, clients, and team members
  • Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and luggage handling
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations regarding schedules, updates, and trip-related needs
  • Maintain accurate records, including trip logs, inspections, fuel purchases, and incident reports
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies, including accidents or medical situations
  • Perform basic vehicle cleaning/care tasks, including fueling and minor maintenance as needed
  • Meet all company standards for safety, appearance, and DOT hours-of-service requirements
  • Support team operations and contribute to continuous service improvement
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Acceptable driving record and ability to meet company insurance standards
  • Ability to pass pre-employment DOT drug screening and background check
  • Ability to meet DOT Hours of Service requirements and maintain compliance with federal regulations
  • Ability to obtain or have a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger (P) endorsement.  School bus endorsement recommended (Company-provided training is available.)
  • Ability to pass DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous motor coach, charter, or commercial driving experience
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Experience with long-distance or overnight travel

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to safely operate a commercial passenger vehicle in various weather, traffic, and road conditions
  • Strong focus on passenger safety, comfort, and professionalism
  • Ability to read and interpret routes, schedules, and directions
  • Effective communication with passengers, dispatch, and team members
  • Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately in emergency situations

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit and operate a vehicle for extended periods
  • Ability to assist passengers and handle luggage (approx. 50 lbs)
  • Ability to enter/exit the vehicle multiple times per shift
  • Ability to perform vehicle inspections (bending, reaching, kneeling)
