Tour Bus Company seeking an experienced Diesel Technician/Journeyman- Royal Coach Tours has been family owned and operated company since 1960. Royal Coach Tours is the premier charter bus company of the Bay Area and Las Vegas. Our customers include many high end clients to include professional and college sports teams. We operate a fleet of 30 + Deluxe Motorcoaches. Offering a modern, clean and safe work environment, competitive pay per hour plus benefits.
Pay depending on Experience and Certifications.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform work in accordance to Royal Coach Tours safety standards and practices.
  • Perform vehicle diagnostics with computer software to diagnose cause of failure.
  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections.
  • Perform detailed electrical repairs including ability to diagnose charging systems and full understanding of multiplex systems.
  • Perform major and general bus component repairs; to include engines, brake system, suspension, transmissions, and differentials.
  • Repairs and diagnose heating and air conditioning issues.
  • Replacement of Major engine components.
  • Read work orders and determine malfunction and plan work procedures.
  • Oversee shop operations and mechanics.

Qualifications:
  • General Fleet experience, truck or bus preferred.
  • Trade experience preferred.
  • Diesel repair experience required.
  • Detroit, Cummins, CAT and Volvo certifications preferred.
  • Must be proficient at electronic diagnostics and repair.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Vocational/Technical or certification, preferred.
  • Must possess own hand tools.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule within hours of operation.
  • Reliable, Hard-working, highly motivated, team player, detail and goal-oriented.
  • Valid Nevada Driver License.
  • CDL with Air Brakes strongly preferred.
  • Clean DMV record.
