What You Can Expect

Responsible for all activities required to fabricate, reproduce, or modify tooling, fixtures, gauges, existing parts or products as assigned by the supervisor.

How You'll Create Impact

Work from sketches, prints, models, or verbal instruction by utilizing sophisticated metal and plastic working equipment.

What Makes You Stand Out
  • Attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of stainless steel, titanium, Zimaloy, UHMPWE plastic, ceramics, cold and hot rolled steel, brass, tool steels, aluminum, rubber, and castings.
  • A good working knowledge of CNC equipment as well as conventional metal cutting, grinding, and plastic working equipment.
  • Capable of laying out work in the most cost-effective manner from the information available.
  • Capable of working in a team-based environment.
Your Background

Must Meet one of the Following:

  • Completion of the Zimmer Biomet Aspire Tool & Die Trainee program
  • Completion of a Tool & Die degree (Associates) with 3 yrs of relevant tool making experience,
  • 6 yrs of hands on Toolmaking Experience
  • A four year approved Tool & Die Apprenticeship Program is approved
