Construction Project Manager
Total Security Solutions is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager who thrives in a high-stakes, fast-paced environment. You are the vital link between our engineering designs and the real-world environments where our solutions save lives. By managing the complexities of 90-120 active jobs, you ensure that every security system is delivered with the precision and urgency that safety demands. Your work isn't just about managing budgets—it's about delivering peace of mind to our clients.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Work directly with customers to identify system requirements.
  • As needed, travel to review job site conditions and measure for final fabrication - up to 25% travel may be required.
  • Manage customer expectations and own the customer support process in its entirety. You will assume responsibility for new projects from the submittal stage through completion, including the oversight of engineering drawings, other submittals and project closeout.
  • Consistently and professionally communicate with client representatives, vendors, subcontractors and internal customers.
  • Review assigned projects to establish critical path milestones, action plans and schedules.
  • Confirm the accuracy of and the scope of new work. Where needed, manage contract renewals and change orders.
  • Project and track assets, including materials, labor and other resources.
  • Initiate corrective actions as needed to meet project deadlines.
  • Communicate with Shop Leaders to project upcoming work and in-house fabrication and job materials requirements. Project Managers are responsible for keeping shop personnel advised of project schedules and project related material needs.
  • Work with the accounting department on project billing.
  • Monitor field staff (installers) and escalate performance concerns to the Lead Project Manager
  • Seek areas for improvement in process, materials, tools, or product design. Take the lead on implementing potential improvements.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of customer service experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in engineering, business, sciences, or related fields.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Extremely organized with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information; operate a computer and office machinery; and move about the office to access files or equipment.

Work Environment
This job takes place in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. Office employees are required to wear safety glasses, safety shoes, and a highly visible vest at all times in production areas and labs.
