Job description

Job Description:

Cornetta Bros. Plumbing and Heating is seeking an experienced Sewer and Drain Cleaning Plumber for their Elmont, NY location. The ideal candidate will already have proficient experience and be able to diagnose repair as needed and perform maintenance in a thorough and accurate manner.

Summary:

Established in 1946 Cornetta Bros. Plumbing and Heating is a family operated business located in Elmont, NY. Cornetta Bros. offers the best service possible with attention given to customer satisfaction. A tremendous amount of referrals come from the recommendations of the thousands of customers they have successfully served.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve residential drain and sewer issues
  • Use specialized equipment such as snakes, jetters, augers, and video inspection tools
  • Clean and clear clogged drains in sinks, tubs, toilets, and main lines
  • Perform sewer line inspections and identify blockages, breaks, or root intrusion
  • Provide detailed explanations and options to customers in a clear, friendly manner
  • Complete paperwork and service records accurately and on time
  • Follow all safety procedures and protocols

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • EPA – Universal Certification preferred
  • Valid driver’s license / clean driving record
  • OSHA 10-hour Construction Course preferred
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • 2+ years of experience in sewer and drain cleaning (residential preferred)

The starting hourly base wage for this position is $35-$45. This is the range of the base pay only, it does not include other components that make up the total compensation package of the position. If offered a position, your total compensation package will be determined by experience, location, skills, and/or education which may result in a total compensation package that falls outside of the provided range.
