Appleton, WI is a city north of Lake Winnebago, in Wisconsin. It is the 6th most populated city in Wisconsin. It is situated on the Fox Rier just 30 miles southwest of Green Bay and 100 miles north of Milwaukee. Seeking a BE or BC Internal Medicine Physician to join our expanding Perioperative Services Team as our first Medical Director and full-time physician at our regional Orthopedic & Spine center in Appleton, WI.

  • Full-time 1.0 FTE (0.9FTE Clinical & 0.1FTE Medical Director Duties)
  • Monday-Friday: 8a-4:30p
  • No call, weekend or holidays
  • Unique position to care for surgical patients in the inpatient setting while also cross training into an outpatient clinic for preoperative risk stratifications and evaluations. Role will directly influence quality outcomes of surgical patients including postoperative outcomes, same day surgery cancellations, care coordination, readmission prevention and system mortality index.
