• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine individual patient needs and create tailored treatment plans that reflect their unique circumstances.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver high-quality individual, couples, and family counseling sessions.
• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups to provide a sense of community and shared understanding for individuals facing similar challenges.
• Collaborate with a network of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for all patients.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and emotional support during mental health emergencies, prioritizing the safety and well-being of clients.
• Empower patients through education regarding their mental health conditions, treatment options, and local community resources for ongoing support.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and confidentiality while documenting all patient information in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Participate actively in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development initiatives.
• Stay informed about the latest research, treatments, and methodologies within the field of mental health counseling.

The patients you will serve at Top Acres include a diverse range of backgrounds and ages, presenting various mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and substance use issues. Our commitment to culturally competent care ensures that we meet the individual needs of our clients, helping them to navigate their unique life circumstances and achieve their mental health goals.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
• Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California is essential.
• Strong comprehension of mental health conditions and treatment methodologies relevant to individual therapy and group sessions.
• Proven ability to assess mental health needs and construct effective, personalized treatment plans.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to fostering therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries while demonstrating compassion and empathy.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred for efficient patient documentation and care tracking.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting to enhance client treatment outcomes.

• Previous experience providing mental health counseling in an outpatient or hospital setting.
• Training or specialization in specific therapeutic modalities, such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) or Trauma-informed care.
• Experience leading group therapy sessions or psychoeducational workshops.
• Awareness of best practices for addressing unique populations, which may include low-income families, veterans, and minorities.

The salary for this role ranges from USD 115,000 to USD 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
