An excellent opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Cardiovascular surgery PA or ACNP to join our outstanding Cardiovascular Surgery Group who are doing remarkable things! Based out of Banner Thunderbird Medical Center and Banner Boswell Medical Center, this position is a Per Diem opportunity and will help support expansion and growing market share in the Phoenix Northwest Valley. In this role, you will round on patients in the hospital, see patients in the clinic, and provide surgical first-assist in the OR. Qualified candidate must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and the ability to work well within a team.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Licensed in AZ or eligible for licensure
  • DEA with prescriptive authority
  • PA-C or ACNP w/RNFA Certificate at the time of application
  • Documentation of successful completion of surgical first-assist training as a part of the curriculum in their nationally accredited nurse practitioner program or attendance at a surgical first assist training course sponsored by ACE, AORN, ANCC, or equivalent as approved by the facility Credentials Committee/Medical Executive Committee
  • 1 - 2 years' experience preferred
  • OR Surgical skill set
  • Cardiovascular surgical experience including endo vein harvesting
  • ACLS/BLS
Practice Details:
  • Inpatient/Outpatient
  • Per Diem
  • Call: Potential on call shifts for overnight and weekends
