As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Communications in Wilmington, DE, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.74 / Hour

Job Schedule:

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Monitor radios, phones, alarms, cameras, and/or other communication systems to receive calls for service, document activity, and dispatch appropriate personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Respond to incidents, routine requests, and/or critical situations by gathering key details, relaying information to site personnel and/or emergency services, and tracking the status of responses.
• Maintain detailed logs, reports, and incident records, helping to support security-related operations, communications, and follow-up actions throughout the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter when assigned. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A current guard card or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
