Job description

Indiana University Health Medical Group Department of Neurological Surgery, in partnership with Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking a Functional/Stereotactical Neurosurgeon to join our academic divisionin Indianapolis, Indiana.
This Faculty position requires expertise in epilepsy surgery, depth electrodes, intrathecal pumps, and spinal cord stimulators and complex peripheral nerve.
Position Details:
  • Primary duties include participation in and expansion of established comprehensive Functional and Stereotactic neurological surgery
  • Additional duties include direct clinical care and teaching of residents, fellows, and medical students
  • Participate in the clinical operations of a multidisciplinary comprehensive Functional and Stereotactic Center; engaging in academic pursuits, performing clinical research, and securing future funding
Schedule:
  • Call rotation with adult Neurosurgeons (generally 4-5 days per month)
  • Outpatient clinic coverage at Goodman Hall, IU Health Methodist Hospital and the Indianapolis VA Hospital
Qualifications:
  • American Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurosurgery
  • Faculty appointment is commensurate with experience
