Schedule: Full-Time | Mixed Shifts | Rotating Weekends

Position Overview
A high-volume, nationally respected Level I Trauma Center in Ocala, Florida, is seeking a skilled and experienced Trauma Neurosurgeon to join its advanced trauma team. This hospital-based position focuses on the delivery of high-acuity neurosurgical care to trauma patients within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Ideal for a neurosurgeon with a passion for critical care and trauma, this role offers robust clinical support, teaching opportunities, and the potential for involvement in research.
Candidate Qualifications:
✓ Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
Spine fellowship preferred; spine surgery experience required
✓ Expertise in trauma neurosurgery with a focus on:
• Managing neuro trauma alerts
• Performing trauma consults and procedures
• Leading post-operative and follow-up clinic care
• Participating in trauma center verification/designation, peer review, and program improvement
✓ Shared trauma call with another neurosurgeon and dedicated APP support
✓ Opportunities for clinical research and teaching through an affiliated residency program
