Job description

We are looking for a motivated, analytical, and customer-focused Finished Goods Planner/Scheduler to join the USCA Powder Supply Chain team at our Strongsville, Ohio manufacturing facility.
As the Finished Goods Planner, you will balance customer demand, production capacity, inventory strategy, and operational constraints to develop an executable production plan that delivers outstanding customer service while optimizing inventory and manufacturing efficiency.
You will report to the Supply Chain Manager and will be based onsite at the Strongsville, Ohio. PPG's work arrangement is a Flexible Friday model designed to accelerate collaboration and career development. Teams work together on-site Monday through Thursday, with the opportunity to work remotely on Fridays.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain production schedules that balance customer demand, inventory, capacity, and operational priorities while managing schedule changes and production priorities.
  • Monitor and improve finished goods inventory by analyzing demand, production output, and supply risks to meet customer service and working capital objectives.
  • Be the primary Supply Chain contact for Customer Service, communicating order status, production schedules, delays, recovery plans, and priority requests.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Technical, Demand Planning, and Raw Material Planning to support product launches, transfers, phase-outs, and overall supply chain execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement by enhancing planning and inventory processes, supporting Integrated Business Planning (IBP) initiatives, using data to improve performance, and participating in root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Scheduling, Procurement, Manufacturing, or related operations.
  • Working knowledge of ERP planning systems (Oracle, SAP, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
