Job description

Sprinkler Systems Sales Representative

Location: Spokane Valley, Washington 99206

Compensation: $80,000 - $140,000+ annually, including base salary and commission. Top performers have the opportunity to exceed the posted compensation range.

Fuze HR is seeking an experienced Sprinkler Systems Sales Representative on behalf of our client, a leading provider of fire protection solutions. If you have a proven background in fire protection sales and enjoy building relationships, developing new business, and delivering customized solutions, we'd love to hear from you.
Position Summary

As a Sprinkler Systems Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for generating new business and managing customer relationships within the commercial and industrial markets. You'll work closely with contractors, engineers, architects, and facility managers to develop fire sprinkler solutions that meet customer needs and applicable code requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Develop new business opportunities and grow an existing customer base
  • Prospect and build relationships with general contractors, architects, engineers, and facility managers
  • Sell commercial fire sprinkler systems, including wet pipe, dry pipe, pre-action, and deluge systems
  • Prepare proposals, pricing, estimates, and presentations for customers
  • Provide technical guidance on fire sprinkler systems and applicable NFPA standards
  • Partner with engineering teams on customized system designs
  • Negotiate contracts and close new business opportunities
  • Stay current on industry trends, code updates, and emerging fire protection technologies
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and customer activity
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of successful sales experience within the fire protection industry
  • Strong knowledge of commercial fire sprinkler systems and applicable codes
  • NICET and/or manufacturer certifications are considered an asset
  • Proven track record of business development, prospecting, and closing sales
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple customer relationships
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events
