Job description

Rush Heart & Vascular, part of the Rush University System for Health network of hospitals, is seeking a BC/BE Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our growing practice in Chicagos western suburbs. This cardiologist will help shape the future of Cardiology in Yorkville, Illinois, and should be board certified in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.  Cardiac CTA training would be ideal.

Department Specifics:

 

  • Rush Heart & Vasculars western practice is based at Rush Copley Medical Center and has specialists dedicated to diagnosing and treating virtually every type of cardiac or vascular problem in adults.
  • We provide comprehensive care for both the treatment and prevention of cardiovascular disease.
  • Our services include general cardiology, interventional cardiology and electrophysiology with a fully equipped diagnostic center including nuclear cardiology, echocardiography and vascular ultrasound.
  • We offer early detection and screening programs, an outpatient chest pain center, and cardiac CT/MRI.
  • Through its partnership with Rush University Medical Center, patients have access to subspecialty programs in cardio-oncology, advanced heart failure, and structural heart disease.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient care to patients with a variety of cardiovascular conditions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives within the cardiology program.
  • Contribute to program growth and innovation through participation in outreach, education, and clinical research initiatives.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain board certification and credentialing requirements.

Rush offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range shown reflects the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, knowledge and skills; relevant experience and training; education, certifications, and licensure; primary work location; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. Opportunities for increased compensation based on exceeding productivity targets. Additional compensation may include sign-on and retention bonuses and relocation allowances. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.

Pay Range: $510,000 - $695,000
