Job description

Our team has been engaged by a top accounting, tax, and advisory firm to find a high quality Tax Manager in the beautiful town of Indianapolis, IN.


This firm works with very significant local and regional business clients as well as VIP personal High Net Worth clients for a variety of tax and business advisory needs.


If you are looking to grow in your tax or accounting career and find a locally owned firm with real upside, this could be a great role for you.


Position Summary and Duties:


-Work independently and with the management staff to work with an assigned group of clients across multiple industries

-Advise clients on multiple tax issues, planning, research and compliance

-Prep and review tax returns for multiple entities including C-Corps, S-Corps, Partnerships, and Trusts

-Work with key clients for business advisory and tax decisions

-Supervise and train junior tax personnel

-Help when needed for local business events networking and fostering relationships


Role Qualifications:


  • 5-7 years of tax prep and review experience with various entities
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting (or equivalent)
  • Masters in tax or accounting would be a big plus, although not required
  • CPA is not required but highly appreciated
  • High level of tax skills, organization, and analytical skills
  • Work in a tight deadline environment


Pay and benefits:


  • $120,000-$170,000 salary annually, commensurate with experience
