Position Overview:

'        As a Tooling Buyer Planner, you'll bepart of our Brea, CA team working as an onsite employee.

Key Responsibilities:'

'        Based on bill of material, customer duedates and tooling lead times, plan supply chain.

'        Update and maintain stock levels fornon-perishable tools and shop supplies.

'        Co-ordinate with engineering departmentto update and maintain tool drawings.

'        Update/maintain bills of material.

'        Co-ordinate and incorporate toolingneeds for production floor.

'        Update/maintain tooling inventory.

'        Confers with department supervisors todetermine status of assigned projects.

'        Prepare production reports. Prepareslists of required materials, tools, and equipment.

'        Prepare purchase orders to obtainmaterials, tools, and equipment.

Review MRP (JD Ewards) messages toplan tooling orders/request.
