Tool and Die Maker


Position – Tool and Die Maker

Job Location – Sussex, WI

Starting Date – Immediate

Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire

Employment Type – Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift (6:00am – 2:30pm)

Starting Pay – Depends on Experience, $26-$32 per hour

Benefits – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus

Required Education – Associate's Degree in machine tool technology, Journeyman card, or completed apprenticeship

Required Experience – At least 3 years of experience


Responsibilities

-Build draw, transfer, and progressive dies for the metal stamping industry

-Set up and operate machines such as drills, lathes, grinders, and milling machines

-Build welding, inspection, and assembly fixtures per design

-Performing test runs on all tools to ensure they function properly and meet print specifications

-Cutting, shaping, filing, grinding, and shimming metals to specifications


Qualifications

-Associate's Degree in machine tool technology, Journeyman completed, or completed apprenticeship

-3+years experience with building metal stamping dies, and operation of Wire EDM Machines and CNC Mills

-Strong blueprint reading and Quality control skills

-Experience with tool room machinery

It was a tradition that names derived in such a way would bring success to that person or business. So, from Carol’s home, SEEK assignment employees were sent to serve the temporary needs of Ozaukee County business people. The business grew and was eventually incorporated in 1975. The Grafton office expanded from Carol’s home to several other buildings in town before finally settling in their current location on Opportunity Drive in Grafton in 1997. Currently, there are 19 total branch offices with 16 located throughout Wisconsin and a recent acquisition has expanded SEEK’s portfolio to 3 branch offices in the Twin Cities.
