What You'll Do
- Support daily operations in our tool and die shop through a variety of hands-on tasks.
- Work closely with experienced tradespeople and contribute to a safe, productive team environment.
- Assist with painting dies, cleaning, organizing work areas, and other shop activities.
- Operate conventional equipment and material handling equipment, including hilo and overhead cranes, following all safety procedures.
- Pick up and deliver parts, materials, mail, and other items between ArtiFlex facilities and customer locations.
- The basics of tool and die manufacturing and die construction.
- Safe work practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Skills and experience that can prepare you for advancement into an Upgrader or Tool & Die Apprenticeship.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-minded.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
