Job description

Tommy’s Express is looking for a Lead Associate to help manage the team in our Overland Park location. $18 - $20/hour, excellent bonuses + benefits! We’re seeking supervisors to help lead our teams and deliver a service our guests love!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a consistently great customer experience for all guests and the highest wash quality;
  • Supervise day-to-day operations and align practices to the company’s vision, principles, and policies;
  • Inspire others and help build a dynamic, strong team by assisting with interviewing, hiring, coaching, supervising, scheduling, and evaluating of associates;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to operations, human resources, preventative maintenance, and inventory; collect and enter data and photo/video documentation into a computer system;
  • Ensure a safe work environment;
  • Make good decisions to resolve issues quickly and appropriately;
  • As a key holder, execute store operations during scheduled shifts including store opening and closing duties, and run bank deposit as needed;
  • Perform other operations, maintenance and carwash site care duties, as requested.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • At least one year of successful people management/supervisory experience in guest services, retail and/or the food service industry; carwash experience not required;
  • Confidence and desire to work with people to inspire team member development, grow club memberships, and solve problems;
  • Comfort with technology and ability to quickly learn a point-of-sale system and a variety of applications on both Apple and PC devices;
  • Experience in operating a variety of equipment and tools and willingness to learn new mechanical skills;
  • Ability to maintain clear and transparent communication, both verbally and in writing;
  • Willingness to abide by our uniform appearance standards and consent to a background check;
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule based upon project and training requirements;
  • Valid driver’s license required.
