Job description

Description:

The Contract Tolling Warehouse Operator supports manufacturing and contract tolling operations. This position will prepare finished good containers, perform shipping & receiving functions, and ensure materials flow accurately and safely throughout the facility. This position aligns with production scheduling, standard operating procedures, continuous improvement initiatives, and all safety requirements.


Tote & Container Preparation

  • Inspect, clean, and prepare finished good containers for shipment (e.g., replace labels, parts, tighten lids).
  • Perform pressure checks and document results.
  • Inspect incoming finished good containers for damage and perform minor repairs as needed.
  • Assist with finished good container inspection as part of shipping/receiving workflows.

Material Handling & Logistics

  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Move materials from receiving, production, and storage areas using forklifts and warehouse equipment.
  • Sort, stage, and verify quantities of incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Pick, assemble, and prepare customer and production orders for shipment according to documented instructions.
  • Record material movements, quantities, and identifying information accurately.
  • Weigh or count items to ensure compliance with specifications.

Operational & Production Support

  • Fulfill production and work order material needs based on schedules and requisitions.
  • Assist with unloading raw material bulk tankers into storage tanks following defined procedures.
  • Complete pre-stage sheets and other production documents.

General Warehouse Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Always operate forklifts and all warehouse equipment safely.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by department leadership or management.
Requirements:Education & Experience Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing and/or warehouse environments preferred.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for most of an 8-hour shift in an environment with heat, dust, and dirt.
  • Basic math skills and strong attendance record required.
