Clean Team Inc. is seeking a motivated, organized, and people-focused Recruiter / HR Coordinator to support hiring, onboarding, and staffing efforts throughout the Greater Toledo market.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with candidates, conducting interviews, coordinating hiring activities, and helping build dependable teams. The Recruiter / HR Coordinator will play an important role in ensuring open positions are filled efficiently while providing candidates and new employees with a professional and positive experience.

Position Overview

Job Title: Recruiter / HR Coordinator
Location: Toledo, Ohio
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Hours: 8:15 AM-4:15 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Location: In-Person
Start Date: Hiring Immediately

What You'll Do

As a member of our recruiting and human resources team, you will help manage the hiring process from initial application through onboarding.

Responsibilities include:

  • Recruit candidates for multiple open positions throughout the Greater Toledo market

  • Review applications and identify qualified candidates

  • Conduct phone screenings and in-person interviews

  • Post, update, and manage job advertisements on Indeed and other recruiting platforms

  • Schedule interviews and coordinate hiring activities with branch and operations managers

  • Communicate job responsibilities, schedules, pay information, and next steps to applicants

  • Guide new employees through onboarding and employment paperwork

  • Track candidate progress and maintain accurate recruiting records

  • Coordinate background checks and other pre-employment requirements

  • Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process

  • Maintain confidential applicant and employee information

  • Assist with new-hire orientation and onboarding activities

  • Provide administrative support for recruiting, staffing, and HR initiatives

  • Assist with general office responsibilities to support efficient daily operations

  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for current and future openings

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, email, and online systems

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in recruiting, staffing, human resources, customer service, or office administration

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field

  • Experience using applicant tracking systems and online recruiting platforms
