GSA Staffing is currently hiring for a premier food production facility in Sandston, VA. 2nd shift is available immediately, 4:00 PM to 4:00 AM. Compensation starts at $17.50 per hour.

Job Description:

  • Work in an environment with high allergens (soy, wheat, peanut, sesame, and mustard)
  • Packaging of soy sauce and other seasonings
  • Inspecting, weighing, labeling, and packing various food products
  • Attendance and dependability are critical
  • Perform duties while standing for extended periods of time
  • Lift up to 50 pounds using safe lifting practices
  • Perform housekeeping duties; keep area clean at all times and use downtime to clean in, around, and under equipment
  • Must be able to walk, stand, and lift for the duration of the shift
  • Communicate effectively with team leads and peers
  • Intermediate computer skills required
  • Willingness to learn how to change over and operate equipment
  • Learn company products and labeling varieties
  • Ability to multitask
  • Flexible to work in different areas as required
  • Ensure products are inspected and quality procedures are followed
  • Follow all safety and GMP procedures
  • Meet daily production goals

Requirements:
