Job description

Event Setup & General Labor

Location: Miami, FL 33137
Pay Rate: $21/hour
Positions Available: 2 Labor Hands

Load-In & Set

  • 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • 2 Labor Hands Needed

Strike & Load-Out

  • 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • 2 Labor Hands Needed


Job Duties

We are looking for reliable, hands-on individuals to assist with an event setup and breakdown. Responsibilities will include:

  • Unloading props and materials from a 26' box truck and positioning them on-site.
  • Assisting the staff carpenter and graphics installer with the installation process.
  • Moving and organizing materials as needed throughout the setup.
  • Performing general labor and site-cleanup duties.
  • Collecting and disposing of construction-related debris.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work area throughout the assignment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in event production, sign making, construction, installation, or general labor is preferred.
  • Must be comfortable performing physical labor, lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
  • Reliable and punctual—must arrive on time and be ready to work.
  • Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Must have appropriate work attire as outlined below.

Required Dress Code

All personnel must arrive in the following attire:

  • Unbranded black T-shirt
  • Black shorts or pants
    • No sweatpants or athletic apparel
  • Closed-toe shoes
    • Steel-toe or composite-toe shoes are recommended but not required
