Job description

TKO StaffPros LLC is currently seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Bilingual Team Lead to join our team in Olive Branch, MS. This full-time, on-site position is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage our production team.

Mixing Team Lead Must be able to know and operate very well the following Machines:

· Mixer (line 1 and 2)

· Open Mill 1

· Open Mill 2

· Batch-Off/ Pallet Stacker

· Forklift

· Pallet Jacker

· MDR test machine

· Mooney test machine

· Silos

· Dosing

RESPONSABILITIES

A good Team Lead can manage brilliantly the following responsibilities:

· TEAM COORDINATION AND LEADERSHIP:

o Be the last resort for every machine of the line.

o Lead by example.

o Leading the team, addressing goals and troubleshooting.

· SAFETY: safety must be addressed all the time and communicated to management when needed.

· CLEANLINESS and HOUSEKEEPING of the work environment.

· COMUNICATION: Every situation that deviates from standard assignments must be communicated to the supervisor.

· Assuring the QUALITY of the production:

o Assuring laboratory test run on the line are passing: if they are red, it is critical to quickly escalate to supervisor and get the instructions (if there is no communication, stop the line).

o Assuring the Quality of the packaging specifications

o Assuring every operator is working following the work instructions and requirements.

o Assuring quality by addressing any non-conforming material by isolating the pallet(material) and filling the non-conformity form.

· Maximizing the PERFORMANCE of the Team and the production line. Besides making sure that the production is running smoothly without delays from the work of the operators, TL must focus on:

o ORDERS AND MATERIAL PREPARATIONS: Be ahead of the production schedule, preparing and making sure the current and next orders are properly staged: current order staged by the belt, next order on the platform and 2nd next order below the platform.

o CHANGE OVER:

- Before the launch of the new order TL must ensure the proper staging of the materials, making sure all the materials are ready to be loaded, and all the materials respect the order’s recipe requirements

- Following the mixing of the 1st batch from the mixer, assuring there are no anomalies in the mixing steps.

- As soon as the first batch is dropped, the TL is supposed to follow the path of the same batch in the following station: Open Mill 1 and Open Mill2 assuring:

- The Mill is clean without contaminations

- The Set up of the machine respect the packaging requirements (thickness & width)

- The Sample has been taken care of, and the operator is aware of the sample frequency and tests.

- OTHER DUTIES may be added from time to time by the Supervisor.
