Coordinators are working leaders who are expected to manage operations while also performing physical work throughout the day. Fast-paced environment with changing priorities every hour. Managing multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting objectives. Leading associates, coaching performance and handling customer issues. Working under pressure during peak seasons, holidays and large truck deliveries. Maintaining store standards even when staffing is limited. Being accountable for department results, not just completing tasks assigned.

Typical Day May Include

Responding to customer concerns. Training and directing associates. Cashiering and Building Customer Base through Loyalty Program. Salesmanship and ability to engage with Customers. Monitoring productivity and operational standards. Adjusting plans quickly when business needs change. Organizing Front End and Stocking.

Responsible for promoting an excellent customer experience. Oversees a team of Associates at front of store ensuring prompt, courteous customer service and promotion of loyalty programs. Leads by example by engaging and interacting with all customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store. Role models outstanding customer service.

  • Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality
  • Takes an active role in training and mentoring Associates on front end principles
  • Trains and coaches Associates on personalizing the customer experience while promoting loyalty programs
  • Assigns registers, supports and responds to POS coverage needs, and coordinates breaks for all Associates
  • Addresses customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience
  • Ensures Associates execute tasks and activities according to store plan; prioritizes as needed
  • Communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities; provides progress updates
  • Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback
  • Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness
  • Ensures adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
  • Promotes credit and loyalty programs
  • Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs
  • Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
  • Other duties as assigned

  • 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience
