Title Clerk

Ralph Sellers Auto Group, a multi-line new and used vehicle Family-Owned Auto Group, is adding to their title department and looking to add a full-time experienced title clerk applicant to join the team located in Gonzales, LA business office. Ralph Sellers Auto Group offers long-term stability fostered by experienced and tenure upper management that believe career growth is a priority for the organization.

We are currently seeking a title clerk to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with dealership experience who is looking to grow their career in a supportive and fast-paced environment. As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to contribute in the following ways.

  • Process all new and used vehicle registrations in the appropriate state
  • Preparing and submit tax, title, and registration documents to secure lien timely
  • Verify all necessary funds are collected and correct lien holder prior to title submission
  • Process paperwork and title work for wholesales and dealer trades
  • Maintain all used car titles, corresponding to ensure title received timely
  • Resolve any title discrepancies, such as odometer or power of attorney issues
  • Work closely with sales and finance managers to resolve issues that may occur
  • Stay informed on state-specific title laws and regulations
  • Support the accounting department with related administrative duties

Qualifications:

  • 1 โ€“ 2 years automotive title clerk experience required
  • Strong understanding of dealership deal processing and compliance
  • Proficient with CDK/ADP dealership software
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented with a positive and professional attitude
