Rollon by Timken is seeking an experienced Production Manager for our growing Norton Shores, MI facility. Our ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience operating manufacturing machinery and equipment (CNC, Mills, Lathes, etc.), and have a deep understanding of manufacturing safety and quality processes. This position will report directly to the Operations Manager, Americas and be responsible for Employees on 1st and 2nd shift.

Key Functions of role:

  • Ensure our production floor is a safe, clean, and organized work environment at all times
  • Drive EH&S initiatives
  • Ensure quality control processes are adhered to
  • Manage the day-to-day manufacturing flows in partnership with each department Lead
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production related challenges that arise
  • Ensure standard operating procedures are followed
  • Monitor KPIs and make data‑based business decisions to support the successful operation
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and teamwork
  • Develop our Production floor talent through training and mentoring channels available
  • Participate in the selection of new production hires
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent
  • 7+ years experience leading production operations, including managing and leading others
  • Technical background (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
  • 5S and Lean experience (ISO a plus!)
  • OSHA experience
  • Abillity to travel both domestically and internationally as required (~10% or less expected)
