Location: Timken, Shiloh.

Job Type: Full-Time.

Shift: Afternoon Shift with regular hours of 3:00PM to 11:00PM Monday through Friday, plus required overtime.

Position Summary

Timken is seeking a dedicated and experienced Group Leader to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring production goals are met while maintaining Timken's highest standards of safety and quality. If you possess a strong foundation in the manufacturing process, team leadership, and process improvements, we invite you to apply. 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of employees.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and quality policies.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate employees to enhance team skills and performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize production efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate employee and production records.
  • Foster open communication and address any issues or conflicts in the workplace.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment by upholding the company's core values.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED. 
  • Experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of production processes and quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.

This position may require access to United States export controlled technical data ("CTD") and hardware under the Departments of US State (ITAR) and/or Commerce (EAR).  Eligible candidates are; US Citizens, Green Card holders, Asylees or others eligible to receive US export license authorizations. Candidate must be authorized to work in the US.
