Job description

Phoenix Pumps, the leader in fluid handling systems in Arizona, New Mexico and Southern Nevada has an immediate opening for a Project Engineer.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain knowledge of core products and how they are used in municipal and industrial applications. Use this knowledge to promote the appropriate products to clients.
• Develop and maintain relationships with engineering firms and contractors responsible for product specifications and approvals.
• Assist clients with pump and system selections based on their application.
• Work with vendors to ensure they have accurate information to facilitate costs and schedules.
• Manage projects from inception to completion, including management of project scopes, milestones, and schedules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including equipment design, development, procurement, installation, and commissioning.
• Compile high-quality technical documentation and proposals for various project stages.
Requirements:
• Mechanical, Chemical, or equivalent engineering degree preferred.
• Prior experience managing projects.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Helpful Skills:
• Experience working in municipal and/or industrial fluid handling applications.
• AutoCAD experience
