Description for Log Truck Driver:
  • Safely load, transport, and deliver raw timber logs from forestry sites to regional mills in a timely, efficient manner.
  • Verify load weights and binder security carefully to ensure full compliance with state transport limits and road safety regulations.
  • Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintaining a clean, well-maintained rig inside and out.
  • Demonstrate sharp situational awareness navigating active logging roads, adhering strictly to safety protocols and defensive driving practices.
  • Interact professionally with landing crews, mill yard operators, dispatchers, and site leads to ensure smooth material drop-offs.
Details for Log Truck Driver:
  • Pay Rate: $28.00 - $35.00 / hour (Scaling based strictly on Depth of Experience / DOE).
  • Placement Type: DIRECT HIRE (Skip the temporary phase and go straight onto the client's permanent payroll!).
