Based in sunny Southern California, our Retail Support Center (RSC) is the heart of our corporate operations, dedicated to supporting both our retail and online stores. Position Summary

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Marketing Coordinator (Brand Activations) to support our Marketing Team.

Key Responsibilities

Events & Activations

• Assist Marketing Manager on all aspects related to Promotions and Events.
• Source Community events to integrate Tillys branding and promotional initiatives.
• Manage school support programs including banner placement and rollout.
• Manage event calendar planned and executed.
• Assist in communicating and distributing all event collateral with Store Operations
• Maintain a positive and professional relationship with all external and Internal partners.
• Negotiate competitive rates with related vendors.
• Coordinate distribution mailings and budgets.
• Manage organized records of all mailing lists, vendor contacts, and connections.
• Communicate and assist in implementing marketing plans for all Events

Social Media assistance

• Assist with day-to-day social content creation, including short-form video, photography, editing, and trend-based content.
• Support social scheduling and publishing across TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, Facebook, and emerging platforms.
• Assist with creator and influencer outreach, product seeding, gifting, tracking, and campaign follow-up.
• Support TikTok Shop affiliate and creator activities, including samples, creator communication, and performance tracking.
• Help monitor social trends, creators, competitor activity, and cultural moments to identify relevant content opportunities.
• Assist with community engagement, including monitoring comments, conversations, and audience activity.
• Maintain trackers for content, influencers, affiliate activity, deliverables, and campaign results.
• Support influencer events and activations, including outreach, product coordination, logistics, and content capture.
• Assist with compiling weekly social, influencer, and affiliate performance reporting.

Qualifications

Your experience brings:

• Proficient in the use of Excel and MS Word.
• Ability to perform all essential duties and responsibilities listed above.
• Must have experience working with social media marketing and internet.
• Must have valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Must have reliable means of transportation and willingness to travel.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Able to effectively use common office equipment.
• Ability to reprioritize projects frequently.
• Must have ability to multitask.
• Independent, self-motivated, team player.
• Able to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and management.
• Strong understanding of retail culture.
• Exceptional communication skills, including presenting and training abilities.
• Ability to cultivate team environment.
• Creative mind, with prior success in driving the creative process.
• Lives and represents Tilly’s Brand

Education & Experience

• 1–2 years of … experience preferred, ideally in a retail environment
• High School Diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Professional office setting with low to moderate noise
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
• Occasionally/Regularly lift/move up to 20 lbs and navigate stairs
• Frequent walking and movement between floors/departments

Compensation

Hourly Range: $20 – $22/hr

Final offer will be based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

What to Expect

Schedule: Full-time role with weekday office hours; occasional evening or weekend work may be required during peak retail seasons.

Work Location: Irvine, CA — minimum of 4 days per week in-office.
