SUMMARY: This position will be responsible for all functions of inventory handling. Responsibilities will also include maintenance of inventory, receipt, shipment of goods, and other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Accurately prepare orders by pulling material from stock.
  • Participates in the shipping of company goods to various customers.
  • Verifies accuracy of shipments.
  • Processes paperwork and signatures of shipments.
  • Operates forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Pulls orders via pick ticket and handles pick ticket process.
  • Loads and unloads delivery trucks for the purpose of receiving stock and preparing for transport.
  • Participates in physical inventory for the purpose of verifying stock and identifying gains/losses.
  • Cleans warehouse for the purpose of safe and sanitary workplace.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.
  • Utilizes computer based inventory, tracking, shipping, and ordering systems.
  • Serve as a backup driver for the delivery truck.
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • At least two years of inventory handling and experience.
  • Ability to perform and understand basic math and written procedures.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Ability to speak both English & Spanish preferred
  • Ability to meet deadlines and schedules with little supervision.
  • Forklift experience is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift 50 plus pounds on regular basis
  • Warehouse experience is a plus.
  • Flooring or tile industry experience is a plus.
  • High School Diploma/GED
