Summary:
Responsible for subfloor preparation and installing a range of floor coverings in commercial locations and site conditions. Installations include textile, resilient, wood and tile products.

Essential Functions:
-Inspects sites to determine the most appropriate flooring solutions.
-Removes existing flooring and discards this material, if applicable.
-Prepares the work surface by applying adhesive, grouting, or other appropriate materials.
-Installs wood, carpeting, tiles, concrete, and other types of flooring.
-Ensures that the flooring materials are well-positioned, secure, and clean.
-Educates clients about suitable care for their floors.
